LA Weekly's Burgers & Beer, Los Angeles

For LA Weekly, a good burger and beer pairing isn't just an enjoyable meal: it's one of the best things about living in LA. Thus, it is no surprise that LA Weekly puts on its own Burgers & Beer festival every year. Held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, this one-day celebration brings together more than 20 restaurants and 40 breweries, including well-known names such as Firestone Walker, Lagunitas, and Sierra Nevada. Befitting its mission of celebrating memorable meals, the festival benefits Food Forward, a non-profit that tackles food waste and hunger issues through activism and initiatives.
