Legends Of Hollywood Tours, Los Angeles

My daughter and I enjoyed the tour. But me more than she. The guide referenced many films and TV shows from my era (60’s - 80’s), but very few contemporary references. We’d highly recommend the tour for folks over 45, but not as much for younger folks.

Mark was very informative. While some of the information he provided was on the morbid side (LA riots, RFK assassination), it IS a part of Los Angeles history. Still, the tour began on a bit of a bummer note... Also, Mark seemed offended when the tour group wasn't completely attentive. While I, too, as a tour guide would want my tour to listen to my spiel, sometimes the tour gets excited and wants to communicate with their own party. So, silence isn't always possible. That said, the tour was well orchestrated, and I felt that Mark went beyond the expected by providing the viewpoints of the stars' homes via Google images. It helped us see beyond the hedge... I recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting a more well-rounded understanding of LA and its vicinity. It's not just looking at stars' homes.

Throughout the tour I kept thinking Mark is the best tour guide I have ever seen - a wealth of knowledge - Funny - Entertaining - he has really done his homework. Los Angeles is truly lucky to have him. At our break at I visited with other passengers - and one of our well traveled families from Africa said I have traveled the world over and of all the tours I have been on he is by far the best. There is no comparison - Mark is Definitely the top of his industry.
