There’s much to admire about the city of Venice, from waterways and gondolas to architecture and art. But in LA, at Locanda Veneta, it’s the city’s cuisine that steals the spotlight. Since 1988, the restaurant has served such Venetian entrees as slow-baked veal shank with saffron risotto and pork loin stuffed with Italian sausage and fennel. The restaurant makes its own signature gourmet pasta dishes including black squid ink ravioli and vegetarian spaghetti with lentils, spinach, and roasted tomatoes. It also features lunch and dinner specials that each come with an appetizer, entree, and dessert and offers a global wine menu with reds and whites from France, California, Space California, and, of course, Italy.
