About Me Gusta Gourmet Tamales

Roberto Ortega Senior and his wife founded Me Gusta Gourmet Tamales in 1999 to introduce the world to the delicious tamales that they make with a secret family recipe. Having started as a small restaurant, Me Gusta Gourmet Tamales now yields its daily harvest of steaming-hot tamales inside a 10,000 square-foot facility. The kitchen staff makes each batch using quality ingredients, including 100% monterey jack cheese, trimmed cuts of meat, and margarine with 0 grams of trans fat, before wrapping the bundles inside fresh corn husks.

Downtown Location is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Called the pacoima location and they never answered my phone calls. Had to drive all the way to them and they were able to make an exception

I was told the LA location is no longer there but to go to Pacoima. I called the Pacoima office and made sure everything was ok with my groupon before making the drive there. I head out there and they tell me they need the print out, but the instructions clearly said I can pull it up on the mobile. After waiting and calling the owner, and wait again for the owner to come down, it got approved.

My husband and I think Me Gusta Gourmet tamales are the best. We love the pork tamales with the salsa. Son deliciosos. THEY ARE THE BOMB!
