Not what I expected at all. The machine did not work after 3 times. We had to squat on a plastic machine device that they put a toilet seat cover on. Very unsanitary. You could hardly feel the steam. It was very uncomfortable because there was no where to lean against.

I scheduled an infrared sauna. I was offered a sauna wrap for $17 additional. She said it was more relaxing. I took it. The technician seemed pleasant enough and put me in a room with, what was, essentially, an electric blanket, over me. There was soft music playing, a fountain just outside the door and a spotlight shining in my eye. I asked if the technician could turn off the spot light that was directly over my face on the ceiling. She did. She then left the room and the music stopped. The vigorously bubbling fountain and the, rather loud, conversations of the employees then became the soundtrack for my "relaxing" experience. I tried tuning them out...to no avail, as the place is rather small and echoing. After about 15 minutes, the technician returned to ask how I was. I let her know the music had stopped, making the fountain (just outside a pain of glass which served as the door to the room). She turned the fountain off, which was when I became aware of the timer she had set which was loudly ticking next to the bed. A few minutes later the music resumed and I was able to concentrate on "un-hearing the timer). By this time I've been "relaxing" for about 30 minutes when I realize, that, although my feet feel like they are being burned (I bent my legs to bring them away from the bottom of the insulated "heating burrito") that I am not sweating. In fact, I'm not really that warm at all (except for my feet, which feel like they're on fire). Just then, the technician returns to give me a 15 minute warning and ask what scent I'd like on the cool compress she is about to bring (for my last 15 minutes of relaxation). I mention to her that I am not sweating. That the "heating burrito" never got warm enough to make me sweat...but did burn my feet, to which she replies, "well, the last 15 minutes you should start sweating". She returns a few minutes later with a cool washcloth that smells of peppermint (nice), puts it on my forehead and returns in 10 minutes to tell me I'm done (as the timer goes off). I am not relaxed. I have not sweat. I go to the desk to pay my additional fee (for the relaxing upgrade). I make my concerns known and say that maybe I should have just done the regular sauna. The woman replies, "I'm sorry. If you come back, and you like it, we'll give you extra time. Really?

Street parking available. It's all meter parking so bring quarters. It's a great small clean and friendly place. I will go again.
