I liked Teeka Massage. I truly did. And I returned a few more times after my first visit. But I was given a lot of flak for having used a Groupon for that first visit, and it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. And I was reminded about having used a Groupon on subsequent visits, so I finally stopped going there. Not worth the grief.

Made a reservation for a Saturday 2 weeks in advance, told them it was through Groupon, they confirmed. I call Friday to confirm the reservation and (1) they said they didn't have it in their books and (2) asked me why I was using a Groupon and kept pushing for me to pay them directly. They then told me that since I was using a Groupon, I could only book an appointment on a weekday. The whole point of a massage was to relax and release stress so I didn't fight it and just walked away, never redeeming the coupon.

Soooo difficult to get them on the phone. It took me maybe 10 times before someone even answered, then they said they couldn't accept groupons for WEEKS. Just badly a managed all around.

In all of the years I've been getting massages, I've never had the one giving the massage fall asleep on the job. Granted, it was the end of the day... But I'm not paying you to fall asleep on me. There were a number of things I didn't like about my experience, but that took the cake!
