About The Bungalow Club

Whether patrons wish to mix and mingle with other revelers or keep evenings intimate with a small group, Bugatta has a space for them. The restaurant and bar's two floors house three very different areas for eating Mediterranean fusion food, sipping, and socializing.

The first floor houses a lounge area complete with two fully stocked bars, a dining space with sleek booths, and a picture of a sultry model on the wall, and a softly lit mirror room, which is set off by gossamer red curtains. In this red-tinted room, patrons sit on elongated benches with metallic backs and sip specialty cocktails with housemade infused syrups. They also nosh on red and white pizzas, housemade risotto balls, and sushi.

The second floor hosts the Middle Eastern–style VIP lounge, where guests perch on red-cushioned, square seats that resemble ottomans and sit underneath a ceiling adorned with draped colorful cloth. Outside, the impressive enclosed patio with private bungalows makes patrons feel as if they're at a fashionable Mediterranean nightclub. The all-white area is awash in the glow of flickering candles, and gauzy white curtains sprawl across the ceiling and drape down over the cozy bungalow areas.

When we got there the place was empty. The manager seated us. We told her we had tickets to see a show and needed to be out in time to get there. She said she would let the wait staff know, and maybe she did, but it took twenty minutes to get our order placed and another thirty to get our food--which was just a couple pizzas and a salad (which was pathetic by all accounts). We ended up being late for the show and couldn't use our tickets (which was a waste of $50 and a trip up to LA). I would have been livid if I had paid full price.
