Velocity Bootcamp's clients torch calories, whittle waists, and tone muscles during 30-minute boot-camp workouts. Consisting of bodyweight exercises such as suspension training and plyometrics, the small group workouts take place in a supportive, non-intimidating atmosphere. For convenience, the staff schedules up to 15 classes per day, including 5 a.m. classes for early birds who want to get the worm and then sling it several hundred yards. The personal trainers also help clients outside the gym by offering them easy-to-follow nutrition guidelines.
