I never read on the groupon upon purchase that a reservation was required. We went on a Wednesday night and had a wait of at least 35 mins. Their staff is minimum so even though there were tables available no one was being seated unless they had reservations or were recognized as regular patrons. There were three in our party and when we were finally seated they put us in front of this huge speaker that made it impossible to have a conversation. The place is decorated in old, worn out furniture and dishes. The floors and ceilings are peeling paint, it is just dark & ugly. The menu is very limited as they kept saying the kitchen staff was, so we waited another half hour to be served our hamburger & fries. They all came burnt (though we each requested medium-well) and dried out. The fries were over seasoned and under cooked. I told the waiter I was very unhappy with the food but did not want a replacement because I would have to wait another half hour I was sure. They never offered any compensation other than a quick "I'm sorry from the waiter" nor did we hear anything from the owner. She looked like she was coming over to speak to us but instead she took a seat at the table next to us and chatted with them as they seemed to be regulars as well. When the bill came it was incorrect and had to be redone, we were all charged with extra cheese which we did not order or receive. I ended up spending another additional $9.45 to include tax & tip. $39.45 for three burnt hamburgers and under fried over-seasoned french fries. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even someone I didn't like. It is an over-priced, eclectic joke. How they stay open is beyond me. There must be enough people who buy into that hooey. Funny, I thought I would come home and complain to groupon about our experience but decided to not bother and then I get this survey from you. I guess my opinion was meant to be out there.

Liked the look and feel of the restaurant but the music was very strange and I was not impressed with the food choices and or the taste.

From Our Editors

The chefs at Bull Branch marry local and international ingredients in a menu of salads, shareable tapas, and entrees that strikes a balance between succinct and eclectic. Served in a intimately lit Bohemian setting that The Washington Post describes as "that perfect blend of casual and sophisticated, elegant and honky-tonk," dishes such as hummus, curries, and pulled pork harness the flavors of the Mediterranean and Middle East, Southeast Asia, and down-home America. Occasional live music in the evenings complements the pan-continental cuisine, as does a serving staff of UN delegates who, upon request, sprinkle borders of salt and pepper to delineate your entree and sides.
