Pearle Vision, Manhasset

Since I was using a groupon, the store will not allow any discounts to be used for purchasing sunglasses. My groupon is for dollar value towards a purchase, not an exam. So while they had specials going on for glasses (buy one get one 1/2 off), I had to paid full retail for my sunglasses, and not allow to get the second pair at a discount. Bottom line, would have paid less at Costco! Won't do it again.

It was a very nice experience. The staff was knowledgable and efficient. The selection of frames was huge so that there were many choices. Found a great frame that I'm very excited about wearing. I would definitely recommend Pearle Vision.

I felt we paid more than we should have by mentioning the groupon before we were quoted the price. I overheard another salesperson say " Is that the price you quoted them?" in an odd way. It's too bad, once burned , you never go back to purchase again. business is better if you can have repeat customers. I felt taken advantage of. I would have gotten a better deal without the groupon.

Staff were polite, helpful and accommodating. I wish my vision insurance covered their services.
