I get a massage weekly and I always try new ones. This one by far is the best massage/experience I’ve encountered. 10/10 recommend. Myself and my fiancé are very pleased. Will be returning

I've been to Chelsea Wellness for multiple visits and Groupon services. The place itself is beautiful, state-of-the art, luxurious and very clean. On this particular visit, I had a Groupon for a 90-minute aromatherapy massage with hot stones. Everything was going well until, my masseuse pushed my table up, got up on the table I was on and started pressing her feet into my back!!! I could feel the full weight of her on top of my back, and she went on for some time!! She didn't communicate that she was going to do that and that was not part of the services in my redeemed Groupon. There was aromatherapy, a hot stone massage, which were great, and were apart of my package but I was shocked when she started pressing her full weight into my back with nothing helping to resist her weight (like the bars you can hold on to on the ceiling at certain spas). I don't know why she thought it was appropriate and felt it was acceptable to do that, but it was not!! My back was sore and inflamed for a full week after that "massage," and I vowed not to go back there again. When I get a massage, facial or spa package, I go to feel relaxed and pampered but with this experience I left feeling traumatized, on edge, sore and in pain!!!
