What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

We believe workouts stay fun when you're constantly learning. High-level technique and a tough sweat aren't mutually exclusive. Gyms can also be terrifying, intimidating places. Put the intimidation aside and focus on sweating in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

With the growth of fitness based programs, functional boxing has been a rarity in NYC. We kept hearing of people who wanted to get more out of a class than the same old punches and blocks. Bringing years of coaching experience with amateur and professional fighters, we wanted to show New Yorkers there's an engaging alternative to the typical fitness boxing class that WON'T leave you with black eyes and fat lips!

What do you love most about your job?

Two of the most satisfying things to hear are thankfully two of the most common pieces of feedback on our classes: "I never knew a technical boxing class could be such a tough workout." "I was really scared to start but everyone was so sweet and welcoming."

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The look says it all. I've seen students get big smiles across their face when they turn their hips just right on a punch and realize just how much power they have. I love seeing their sense of accomplishment when they nail something they've been working on for a while.
