Specialty rolls were great, service was good. However, don't get the dancing eel roll.

Service was average. Sushi was good but not amazing. The deal was exactly as written although there is tax and tip that you have to take care of, which I've come to assume when using groupon so that wasn't surprising. The 3 glasses of wine (or beer or sake) were on the smaller side but still reasonable pours and the wine was good for house red at church restaurant of that caliber.

There is not enough nice things to say about this place. The staff is particularly friendly and the sushi roll selection is fantastic.

It was not worth it. The only things I liked was the plum wine (sweet) and the mackerel single sushi. Everything else was mediocre including the bubble tea (taro). Also, there was an issue with the pricing of the Groupon. It's a small location. One of the waitresses were not nice. The one who ended up serving us was great. Taxes and tip are an additional cost. I would not go back.

Sushi just average- All you can eat limits you to one sashimi order- Major issue is the up charge over the Groupon value since they increased their pricing - Also compulsory service charge of 18%- service was fine but should never be mandatory. I would not go back as there are better sushi places in NYC

DO NOT GET GROUPON. Food is ok but you will not save money. Just walk in.

From Our Editors

From hibachi meals to donburi rice bowls, there's an extensive selection of Japanese food at Kiku Sushi Japanese Restaurant. The stars of the menu, however, are the signature sushi rolls.

  • Hawaii roll: Steamed lobster and asparagus fill this roll, which is finished with slices of fresh mango and avocado, plus the chef's special sauce.
  • Diamond roll: Fried oysters and cucumbers are wrapped up in sushi rice, then topped with eel, avocado, tobiko and lobster meat and drizzled with the chef's special sauce.
  • Kiku roll: The chef's special sauce garnishes this roll, which sees a soybean and seaweed wrap enveloping salmon, tuna, yellowtail, tobiko, and scallions.
