I took this class last Friday and I highly recommend it! As a woman living in a big city, I wanted to learn some self-defense techniques, that would help me in uncomfortable and/or dangerous situations. The warm-up was fun with punches and kicks combo. The techniques we learnt are applicable in real life and super useful (like defense against hair grabs or chokes). Great class! great instructor!

Friendly instructors and great focus on the principles and proper way to perform the techniques. However, from the 3 lessons I took, it felt a tad repetitive, and perhaps a bit too focused on the martial art aspects of KM. Was definitely great, but compared to other KM schools in NYC, it didn't feel like we were learning things we could instinctively apply as easily in practical situations.
