After Dr. Marjorie Baptiste became a dentist, she immediately enrolled in a three-year specialty training program in periodontology, a practice that focuses on teeth's supporting structures, including the gums. Nowadays, her Manhattan and Queens offices are prime destinations for patients in need of the most innovative treatments for gum disease, tooth loss, bone loss, and other conditions. Dr. Baptiste's holistic approach aims to restore the appearance of smiles and ensure overall health; it incorporates state-of-the-art dental implants, platelet-rich fibrin treatments for bone loss, and moderate-conscious sedation.
Dr. Baptiste has dealt with complex surgical cases and myriad types of periodontal disease in her dental mission work. As a representative of the Suzanne and Leon O. Baptiste Foundation, which was founded by her grandfather, she leads American colleagues to work with other specialists at a dental clinic in Haiti.
