About "Romeo and Juliet"
H+ | Theatre of the Mind Repertory Company employs all six foundational elements of hip-hop dance in their storytelling: popping, boogaloo, locking, rocking, breaking, and party dance. Their performers' training covers culture, anatomy, kinesiology, and anthropology. For Founder and Artistic Director Safi A. Thomas, hip-hop and dance are not just entertainment, they're the foundation of a life philosophy. "The culture feeds the music, and the music feeds the dance," he explains. This mantra becomes evident in each production, many of which have been praised for their emotive depth as much as their dazzling physicality.

I appreciate others review
We were respecful slipping put after act 1 but if I stayed for a linkage to Hong Kong events in show my irritation would have been open in Q and A
Major liberties with a long standing name in this story should have been conveyed up front ..
Thank you

Really not a good choice to bring my family too. I was under the impression it was gonna resemble the Christmas Carole. It’s name was Scrooge. But all it really consisted of was running an hour behind so we waited in the hallway until we were seated. Then it started with a rude narrator and dancing with no explanation of what the storyline was about. Women screaming and kid napping it was awful...

It was simply not a good show. Some of the stuff does not make sense and even offensive. What does this story have to do with the violent protest in Hong Kong as the show had it close to the end. Are the art director suggesting people start to burn down NYC? Stupid at the least. Waste of time.

Never again. Performance started 1 hour late. It was dark, gloomy, unnecessarily mysterious, and very depressing. It reminded me nothing of the Scrooge Christmas Carol. It was likely a local amateur youth dance studio, and thus should not have charged $20 for a ticket. Me and my guest left at Intermission and said never again. And, when I say they started 1 hour late-I am not exaggerating!
