I tried to get a refund after the first class. The dance moved were extremely advanced, I love dancing and enjoyed the music - and history lesson however this is NOT a class for people that just enjoy dancing - you need to be a contortionist. I seriously hurt my knees by almost twisting them to try their moves and they refused to give me the balance of the classes as a refund or credit towards some other class.

Class feels open and welcoming regardless of dancing experience and it is nice to see all types of people feel comfortable to try and dance.I didn't feel silly at all even though at some points I was lost in my steps and eventually I felt like I could go to a club alone and dance without caring who is watching. THANK YOU H+

Everyone is really nice and they make you feel welcome even if you're a complete beginner and you look lost in the middle of everything. Definitely loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to dance hip hop and learn some of the history of where hip hop comes from.

Super fun, they not only get you moving but really explain the history and culture of each dance. As they explained, they are not just a dance studio but also a conservatory and are dedicated to preserving and celebrating hip hop.

It's not much of a dance class. The teachers aren't good at teaching and the structure of the 3 hours is very strange. It's repetitive, doing one movement over and over again like an aerobics class, and the half hour freestyle in the dark is awkward. I only went once because it was not a good experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

Yes, they're good and making newbies feel comfortable. No, they don't let you learn you're way and are very bothersome.
