About Turning Heads Salon & Day Spa

Turning Heads Salon & Day Spa has been beautifying the tresses of Harlem inhabitants with naturally derived products for almost two decades. But it wasn't until 2002 that they added on a day spa, where owner Sandy Scarborough oversees exfoliating body treatments, peels, and facials using Aveda products. In 2011, The Village Voice named it New York's best spa, praising the attentive staff and tranquil, unrushed atmosphere. Manicurists and makeup artists add color to faces and fingertips, while massage therapists smooth out muscle knots, preparing clients to end their beautification sessions with a sprint to the nearest mirror.

Don, Dimitri and Mildred were superb. Pampered me and I felt wonderful when I left as their skill levels could not be improved upon. The massage and facial were superb and liked that I was offered the use of the sauna. Plan to return
