Long Island Sports Park, Calverton

80 acres of land and challenging outdoor activities all make Long Island Sports Park a perfect place to enjoy a sunny day. Throughout the park, three golf courses challenge players of all skill levels. The no-putt nine-hole course is unique in that, as its name suggests, it does not allow putting, challenging players to complete each hole through drives, swings, and chips only. Meanwhile, the foot golf course removes the need to swing entirely, since players control the ball with their feet in a mash-up of traditional golf and soccer. For families with small kids, mini golf lets everyone putt through a nature-themed course.

In addition to its golf courses, the park's sprawling grounds host everything from paintball tournaments to an obstacle course and mud run to get people moving and having fun.
