About The Sipping Plant - Kennesaw

Grab some friends and drinks and head over to the The Sipping Plant! An instructor will show you how to create a string art masterpiece that you can personalize to fit your style. No experience required to enjoy the events.

Know Before You Go
  • You don't have to be "crafty" to participate. The instructors will guide you through the entire process of creating an amazing piece of string art that you'll be proud to display in your home.
  • Just bring your friends and refreshments. But don't forget the cups, bottle openers, plates, napkins, and silverware.
  • Depending on how you want to embellish your piece, there can be paint involved, so dress accordingly. Although The Sipping Plant provides, gloves, and placemats, it probably won't be a good idea to wear your finest ballroom gown.
  • All events are open to all ages. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Sipping Plant is a fun experience for all. It’s not quiet, so don’t expect a relaxing time! My only problem is they used to let you take string home to finish your project if not done, now they charge you for the bit of string you take home. It’s expensive enough to be able to take home a few feet of string of a couple of colors. They sale a huge roll of it at Michaels for less than $4.

The young lady was there by herself and was able to help my group doing the planetariums and another group doing the string art. She was very fun and loved her job! She shared relatable stories and knew exactly what she was talking about. It was my birthday so I appreciated the energy. Also, one of my Friends didn’t show up so she let the three of us each get a small plant extra :)
