Owl Wise founder, Velina Lujan, holds a master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and is also a Certified Life Coach and Certified Holistic Stress Management Instructor with over a decade of experience as a Certified Massage Therapist and over 20 years consulting and counseling individuals in various settings. Velina works to soothe more than just the muscles. In addition to performing hands-on treatments that encompass innovative techniques from all around the globe, she leads stress management coaching sessions that aim to get at the root of each person's stagnation, unhappiness, and/or anxiety. In other words, Velina wants to make sure her clients know how to deal with life's difficulties when they're not melting beneath the strokes of her experienced hands. The inspiration behind the name “Owl Wise” came after being told by several folk healers that her totem is the wise and honest owl—the “True Seer”.
