STL Cryo chambers offer a simple solution to pain, discomfort, and muscle fatigue. With a minimum reservation of 15 people, STL Cryo will travel to your event, office, gym, or even home for private parties. Clients won't need to travel to a studio to experience the benefits of whole body cryotherapy, as STL Cryo comes to them.

What is Cryotherapy?

Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) is a short-term exposure of the entire body to freezing temperatures between -170F and -270F for 2-3 minutes. When the body is exposed to this extreme cold, vasoconstriction (narrowing of the blood vessels) of the peripheral tissues takes place and sends blood from the skin’s surface and muscles to the main organs to protect the body’s core temperature. The blood flow continues to circulate between the cardiovascular system and vital organs. During this time the body stimulates receptors to activate the nervous, endocrine and immune system. Once the participant exits the chamber, the body immediately begins vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels) where the blood returns to the peripheral tissues, improving blood flow and supply while flushing out toxins. The results being reduced inflammation, pain, improved mood, physical body and overall health and well being.
