About The Little Gym of McAllen

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are part of a franchise organization that has over 300 locations in over 20 countries. Our curriculum is based on your child's developmental milestones and has been continually refined since 1976.

What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
All students are barefoot in the gym and need comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Parents coming to class with their infant or toddler can wear socks or go barefoot in the gym.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We were looking for fun, positive things to do with our own toddler and couldn't find anything like this in McAllen so we decided to take the plunge and open one.

What do you love most about your job?
I love that look on a child's face when they master a skill and come running up to me and ask "Did you see me, did you see me? I GOT IT!"

The actual place is nice. Kid really enjoyed it (18 months). But it's so dirty. I never saw them clean anything between classes. A kid stuck an egg in his mouth and the instructor just threw it in the box with all the others. We went twice and would see the class before and they didn't spray or clean anything. After each class both my son and husband were sick. And I'm not a crazy germaphobe. I know my kids gonna get sick. But it just didn't seem like they put any effort which was scary for the amount of traffic they had.
