Wasabi Sushi and Robata Grill, McKinney

We used the Groupon for take out. Their online menu is very weak with little to no description of the rolls. I had to ask a lot of questions on the phone to determine what to order.The food was fine but nothing spectacular. I asked for the Crunch Roll without any sauce on top but when I got home it was covered with sauce and soggy. Tempura and Robata were good but portions were small. I would not eat here without a Groupon because their prices are quite high. Also there was a lot of confusion about my order once I arrived to pick it up. I had to talk to 3 different people and wait 10 minutes in addition to the 30 minutes between my phone order and when I arrived (they quoted me 20 minutes). It was not crowded at all inside. Only 2 parties so not sure why the long wait.

It was our first time at Wasabi and here is my review. Location is okay, Food it's very good, sService by Liz was EXCELLENT, food presentation good; exactly how I expected it from a sushi restaurant Now having said that I also have to add was a little pricey for a sushi restaurant in McKinney, Texas. And a sushi restaurant without miso soup. Soup of the day asparagus cream-based soup was very good

Clean and welcoming environment. Staff super friendly and accomadating. Food .... we ate everything on our plates! Soooooo good and fresh!
