It was fun, most things are replicas (except spruce goose). My kids have been to DC and saw the real ones so they enjoyed it but also commented the real ones were better. Overall it was worth the trip but glad we had a Groupon bc otherwise it’s really expensive

Wouldn't accept the Groupon so had to pay full price. Went for a birthday celebration so was very expensive for six people. Great exhibit but the cost put a damper on things.

I went there expecting a loud echoing hangar full of airplanes and noisy kids. It was definitely a large hangar of airplanes with some fascinating exhibits but it was surprisingly short on noisy children for a Sunday afternoon. There were some kids, but they were far quieter than what I had grown accustomed to from similar museums. The exhibits were interesting; I got to go inside the Hercules (Spruce Goose), I was allowed to get up close and personal with an SR-71 Blackbird, saw some really scary flying contraptions, and I got to check out a Titan rocket! Overall, my husband and I had a lovely time. The staff is mostly made up of people who have been in the airforce or flight industry and if I recall correctly, they were all volunteers and all very excited about aeronautics. It was a pleasure to visit, very informative, and I look forward to visiting again sometime soon.
