It's hard to tell what shines the most at Fuor D'Acqua: the Italian seafood, the golden chandelier, or the bedazzled, mounted shark that overlooks one portion of the dining room. Its shimmering fins are probably the restaurant's most opulent decoration—otherwise, pale blue walls and white curtains evoke the breezy feel of Florence.

The menu, meanwhile, looks to Italy's coasts for inspiration. Appetizers of sea bass or tuna tartar precede main courses of sautéed red snapper or fried shrimp and squid. Classic Neapolitan pasta comes topped with a Mediterranean reef fish sauce, whereas the tagliatelle is served with lobster sauce—a rare delicacy made when a lobster crushes a tomato in its pincers.
