About Lgbt Dance Miami

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our business separates itself by providing excellent instruction in Ballroom & Latin dancing by an award-winning staff & also that it caters specifically to the LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bi/Transgender) community of S. Florida by providing a fun, social environment designed to teach partnership dancing.

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
One tip for first time students is when taking a dance class, do not compare yourself to others in the class. Focus on yourself and your own progress.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We are very passionate about Ballroom & Latin Dancing and believe that all dance should be inclusive, not exclusive. Therefore, we wanted to provide a service & a space for the LGBT community to learn dances not offered in which gender roles are not enforced.

What do you love most about your job?
What I love about my job is that utter sense of satisfaction when my students feel pumped and happy after a class. If they walk out the door with a smile, I know I've done a good job.
