About Mint Leaf Coral Gables

Accomplished chefs trained in India and London whip up Indian dishes in Mint Leaf’s Coral Gables and Miami kitchens. The restaurant imports specialty ingredients straight from India, as well as equipment such as granite stone grinders from Mysore, which help make batter for dosas, uthappams (similar to pizza), and other dishes. House-made cottage cheese mixes with a spinach puree in the saag paneer, and curry leaves and mustard seeds mingle with fish filets in the macchili curry. Nine varieties of flatbreads, from plain naan to kulcha stuffed with onions and coriander, scoop up bites of chicken tikka masala and lamb korma. Bollywood music videos play in the background as customers dine amid Mint Leaf’s Indian art and sculptures, including carved stone statues of the god of bobbleheads.

Service was probably the worst we've experienced... Having to pay extra for plain rice and bread is unacceptable. Wonder if this applies to everyone or if it's only to Groupon customers... Our total savings was only $14. Not worth for the exclusions, redeeming of the coupon, excessive delays!

Really good food and service. Our server was super helpful and everything he suggested was amazing! Highly recommend this place especially if you like spicy food :)

Upon arriving at The Mint leaf we were greeted in Spanish, sat at a table that was wobbly and the guy put a cardboard piece of paper under the table spilling my dirty glass full of water. Dinner was mediocre and service was exaggerated in Spanish. We observed other parties asking to move from their tables due to a wobbly table. I ordered a carrot dessert that I sent back because it tasted bad. I have never written a bad review in all of my travels, but this place was a waste of money, even with our Groupon discount.
