Trio Mind Body Spirit Studio's three yogis—Arianne, Michelle, and Carlos—try to provide their students with as many paths to healing as there are yoga positions. Arianne's students flip upside-down to practice a combination of acrobatics and yoga in AcroYoga classes or flow through more traditional moves in her Hatha Flow and Vinyasa classes. She relies on the skills she's learned while studying in India, Thailand, and California to lead her light-hearted sessions.
Michelle works with all types of bodies in her alignment-based Hatha classes, making sure they're able to carry out the moves and offering adjustments if they're having trouble. She also studied in India and Thailand, learning Iyengar therapeutic training and yoga-Thai bodywork, a practice that relieves tension and remove the blockages in energy flow caused by swearing off TV.
Carlos "Charly," a musician and avid yoga practitioner, introduces students to Budokon, a practice that blends yoga and martial arts moves. He also passes his knowledge onto students during AcroYoga classes.
