There is no way to dance a jig without joy. As with most traditional Irish dances, the bouncy choreography inherent to the form inspires enthusiasm in the dancers and audience. For aspiring steppers hoping to master the form for recreation, competition, or just to appease the ghost of W.B. Yeats, Leneghan Academy of Irish Dance has been the Cleveland area's premier institute for Irish dancing since 1992. Instructors steeped in tradition and sporting TCRG and ADCRG certifications in Irish dance transform the fledglings into footloose masters of Celtic syncopation, with many students advancing to national- and world-level competition or enlightening the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade with their graceful steps.
