Pins and Needles, Cleveland

Although Pins and Needles opened in 1988, its staff has more than 150 years of sewing experience. The three locations are run by the Brostek family, where they lead classes and stock a wide selection of sewing-related products.

"People want to create. They want to make memories," the shop’s cofounder, Jan Brostek, told the Plain Dealer. And Pins and Needles helps them to do just that with classes and workshops in quilting, sewing, and embroidery. Elsewhere technicians speedily repair and maintain nearly all makes and models of sewing machines from brands such as Pfaff, Brother, Baby Lock, and Janome.
