About Me and Why I Love What I Do After more than 10 years of working in the Medical Industry, I realized my love for the beauty industry, never really left my heart. As I child I always wanted to do something fun and rewarding, I would watch my family, who were in the field, and think "I wanna do that when I grow up", so I decided after nine years of being a stay-at-home mom, I would fulfill my passion I had been craving since I was a little girl. The medical industry wasn't for me any longer and didn't fit my current lifestyle as a mother. Making clients feel confident also makes them build self-esteem within themselves, which in turn, makes me feel good. Let's face it, especially for women when we look better, we feel better. When we feel better, self-esteem increases, and that is the key for women to be empowered.  With all of the advancements in skin care, there is much to be learned. Between industry magazines, books, trade shows, webinars, blogs, classes, and websites, the opportunities to educate myself and my clients are endless. The skin care industry is fast-moving with advances, so continuing education is essential to provide great skin for my clients. Back in the day, doctors frowned upon facials and estheticians. But now, they are FINALLY embracing the seriousness of skincare. Now, many estheticians work for doctor’s offices, and esthetics have come to be highly respected for their knowledge and services to our communities.
