Premier Air Duct Cleaning, Munford

The Groupon was supposed to be a $289 value for $20 + tax for Air Duct Cleaning for 10 Ducts with One Return. However, when the owner arrived I was quoted $500 for a less than 1400 sq ft house with 10 or fewer air ducts and only 1 return. I told him the Groupon was deceiving and that I felt blindsided by the quote of $500 for something I thought I had already purchased. He then offered to do the service for $250. I needed it done so I went along with it although I was already uncomfortable from the deceptive purchase. It was not at all the type of air duct cleaning I thought I was getting. He went into my attic where my system is located and sprayed a chemical, which he claims is used in the hospitals. I told him I thought he would actually "clean" - like scrub the sides of the ducts with a brush and push out all the dust. The whole thing was not at all what I expected and I'm truly not confident that my air ducts are actually clean. I'm confident they're not. We're all still sneezing when the air/heat comes on and my house still gets just as dusty when using my central heat and air. I personally would not recommend this service.

The first thing the owner said when he walked in my house was, “I smell mildew.” I couldn’t believe it because it had been inspected by a home inspector before I bought the house AND I had my AC company out to inspect it. Neither of them found the black mold that he did. He texted me photos of before and after from my attic and helped me measure the ceiling vents so I could buy new ones. Pleased.
