Chef Jaswinder Singh brings eight years of international culinary experience to Royal India Restaurant. His time spent in the kitchens of five-star hotels and in India, when he learned to cook Chandigarh-style food, come through in the cuisine he now crafts in Milwaukee. While some of his dishes incorporate meat and others feature a medley of veggies, he and his kitchen crew imbue nearly everything with a blend of spices including cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, and cardamom, wooing taste buds with the characteristic flavors of India. Beyond his culinary skills, Chef Singh's formal education in hotel management impacts the restaurant, too, as the refined atmosphere inside the dining room of white-clad tabletops no doubt benefits from his expertise in hospitality.
