Waiting for food at a restaurant is usually a drag, but it's part of the fun at Game Master Grill. That's because the puzzle, card, and board games lining the eatery's walls—from Pokemon to Risk—are all available to play while cooks whip up meals in the kitchen. Those feasts encompass steak house and pub food alike, from skirt steak marinated in honey soy to buffalo wings served with a choice of 11 dipping sauces, including asian peanut butter. The menu is full of game references, such as "Catan chips" with blackened seasoning, and, per Newsday, even the tablecloths are made from different games' rubber play mats. If meals come to a close faster than games, diners have the option of buying any game they start and continuing at home, or heading to Game Master Games, which shares the same owners, to join a gaming tournament.
