5120 Restaurant & Onyx Bar, Minneapolis

The place was almost empty. It felt uncomfortable the entire time.

The food at 5120 is unbelievably good. I don't understand why they are not busier and why I never see any advertising.

They misrepresent menu; they limit menu to 2 choices and portions of entree are a 4 oz steak or 4 oz chicken breast.

Coupon was not honored for what it was purchased. I did not think that a "New York Steak" that measured 2" by 3" and could not have been more than 2.5 ounces should be considered a dinner steak. 3 asparagus spears and a dollop of potatoes "completed" the dinner. A salad (appetizer) of greens and croutons that was extremely small and a slice of cheesecake to "share" that was half the size of a normal slice along with two glasses of wine completed the coupon deal. I was truly embarrassed as I had brought my son with me and he was looking forward to a good meal. His steak was two bites worth! The manager on duty said that the chef decided that he could not afford to have diners chose from the menu (not indicated up front) and chose the menu items so that they would equal the value of the coupon. I paid $29 for a supposedly $58 meal and I would estimate that the total meal was worth less than $25. I had another coupon for the same deal that I would not use. I would like to get a refund of my $29. This was a total misrepresentation and I am surprised that Groupon would allow this. We eat out about 3 nights a week and I entertain for business frequently. I purchase a fair number of Groupon Certificates and this is the first time that I have been so totally disappointed.
