About Dairy Queen
On a warm August day in 1938, a father and son unveiled the first sample of what was to become Dairy Queen, and they sold 1,600 ice cream samples within two hours alone. Since then, frozen treats have fueled their endeavor's expansion, propelling the shop from 100 stores in 1947 to 1,446 in 1950.
Today, DQ's dessert recipes remain largely unchanged, and it boasts an enormous menu encompassing everything from soft-serve cones and cookie-filled Blizzards, to takeaway ice-cream sandwiches and cakes.

Store in Newburgh does not have a scanner to scan your Groupon coupon. Manager was nice enough to take the nine dollars off my purchase. Just don’t understand in this day in age a store with high traffic doesn’t have a scanner. I had to fight to get my money off. Think manager gave in because I was holding up the drive through line.
