The highest quality of wax is used to ensure best results with little or no irritation. Please note that hair should be 1/4-1/2 inch long (approximately 2 weeks growth). This massage was specifically designed with the Athlete in mind, but is also customized to each clients unique needs. Lucy will use a variety of approaches to help athletes in training, before, during, and after sports events. Massage is beneficial to athletes in order to promote flexibility and help prevent injuries. It is particularly useful in healing of muscle strains after a sports injury. We recommends this type of massage to all athletes in training, before, during or post sports event. This massage involves relaxation, blood and lymph circulation improvement (which assists with inflammation), deep tissue, and myofascial release, as well as muscle energy techniques (M.E.T.) which releases any built up energy stored in a muscle after an event.
