We were very excited to use our Groupon, until we started our session. The photographer was friendly to start until the actual session started and we were told the timer has started. Nothing like putting a family with young children under a strict time restraint. The basement studio was cold and uncomfortable for my newborn and husband. The photographer may work well with older children or adults, but not the best choice for young children. The package was reasonable and the print prices were ok. Photographers/ Artist always have a creative opinion, but our suggestions were not taken openly. Being put on a strict timed session we wanted to make sure we were vocal to receive our must have shots. Needless to say we left our session with out our most important shots we requested. We ended up coming home and creating them ourselves at home. I would not recommend this Photographer for young family/ children photos. I felt pressured and a strong sense of tension in the air.

Valerie at Apricot Lime was terrific. Her studio is in her home and she warmed the whole place up so my baby would be comfortable . She chatted with us and we felt so comfortable with her. She asked what we wanted out of the photos and also had her own props, cute little baby hats and blankets . I wasn't planning on purchasing beyond the groupon value but there were do many great shots I bought a package of digital files.
