You can break Fitness Nation's training system down into two types of classes: technique-based sessions—such as kickboxing—and high-intensity regimens—such as tabata boot camp. Leading each class is a seasoned member of Fitness Nation's staff, which includes founder Marc Lebert, creator of fitness gadgets such as the Lebert Equalizer, the Buddy System, and the Stretch Strap (yes, they're used during select classes). And although Fitness Nation favors group workouts, it acknowledges the effectiveness of one-on-one sessions by offering personal training. These sessions work to push patrons to reach their individual goals, such as losing 10 pounds or gaining the strength to bench press their older brother.
