Solara Mediterranean Bistro, Mississauga

Very slow service despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy. Server allowed a tip when one was already included. Will not come back or recommend it toy friends.

The restaurant charged18% tip automatically. This left nothing to our own disgression. The food was not good & I had to send mine back. In their defense they offered me something else & the staff were very accommodating. I would not recommend this restaurant.

First course was excellent then service was very slow. After considerable time , main course arrived for three of our party. Fourth entree came later. It was shrimp and scallops. We were informed that scallops were still being cooked!!!! They came later. Other three entrees had to be returned as they were cold. They came back not much better. Tax on the bill was already on at 18% We had alreayd planned on a group visit in the future but that will not happen

The place is lovely but I thought the salads and appetizers were over-priced. Our server was fine but forgot one of our dishes and then forgot to bring our take-out dish. I'm guessing this was because gratuity was included because the restaurant was completely empty and he had no one else to worry about. Other servers were re-arranging tables near us and discussing the layout of the restaurant which I thought was quite disruptive for us and rude.
