Rilion Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) continues to be one of the most popular styles of mixed martial arts today. While jiu-jitsu has been a style for several centuries, its Brazilian-strand was formed in the early 20th century by Carlos Gracie Sr, who went on to become a legend in Brazil for his unique style of fighting. While Carlos' teaching days are far behind him, his youngest son, Rilion Gracie, continues that tradition. At Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, the youngest Gracie continues his family's tradition of BJJ, teaching students the techniques, exercises, and diets of the popular fighting style. Gracie accepts pupils ranging from newcomers to advanced fighters, and he also promotes BJJ as means of preventing bullying, giving kids the confidence, skills, and mindset to defend themselves without being aggressive.
