No matter the season, the experienced instructors at Skydive Monroe help students discover Atlanta’s sky-high beauty while gliding through the air at 14,000 feet. They teach students of all experience levels the ins and outs of these giant leaps, working with beginners through tandem jumps, instructor-assisted deployments, and accelerated freefall classes. They also oversee jumps for more experienced divers, and welcome non-jumpers to ride along in the plane for an additional fee. Staff members document each trip on video, allowing jumpers to relive the thrill of the jump without painting tiny cityscapes on their trampolines.

The experience was fabulous. Skydive Monroe feels like a club of skydiving enthusiasts who create a atmosphere of fun while being very serious about safety and proffessional about teachng the proper technique. For a first solo jump, count 5.5 to 6 hour instructions, but it is absolutely worth it! The risk? You might just get hooked on skydiving! Alternative to solo jump is to go in tandem, much less time spent training and your jump will start from much farther above in the sky, but of course you do not steer your parachute. Anyhow, if you are considering a try at skydiving in GA, I highly recommend Skydive Monroe. I will return there

The group on was very misleading it did not indicate anywhere in the groupon or fine print that the jump was only from 3,500 feet NOT the usual 14,000 feet. We did not find out what we had really signed up for until we arrived at the location. Had all the information been given to us on the group on we would have not purchased it so this is very disappointing it felt like they left this out just to get people to buy but were not honest.
