My Hear Beats 5k, Monroe

The "beats" portion of My Heart Beats 5K doesn't just refer to the percussive cardiovascular thumps that result from running all 3.1 miles across Evergreen Speedway. It also refers to the adrenaline-boosting music that'll be dominating the soundscape as runners warmup, run, and, ultimately, help raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County. This lively, love-fueled vibe spills over to the events other offerings, too, including pre- and post-race concerts, a blow-up love tent, and a beer mile.
