About Lake Norman Duffy Boat Rentals

US Coast Guard–licensed Captain Mike Layel and his first mate (and wife), Joanne, started their boat-rental company to give locals a new way to enjoy Lake Norman. Boaters can enjoy touring the lake in a 21 ft. Avalon Lake Cruiser which can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. All the boats are electric-powered, providing an environmentally friendly vehicle for exploring the lake or taking a romantic sunset cruise.

Lots of fun. Boat is easy to drive. Nice relaxing two hours on the water.
