Warning to avoid Medi-Spa. The lobby is connected to a plastic surgeon who markets and sells her own "undereye dark circle cream." The lobby is filled with glossy brochures and giant posterboards revealing all the wonderful skin treatments they can do, like IPL, microneedling, etc. The brochure and the girl at the counter tell you consultations are FREE. After I made an appointment and had my FREE consultation, the doctor's receptionist charged me $50 for the "free" consultation. (She had insisted I fill out 5 pages of paperwork, including social, for the "free consult). Please learn from my mistake and avoid this operation.

Staff is great, office is clean, no complaints there. However, I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal and you might as well throw your money down the drain. I went 3 times, followed all directions, spaced my appointments appropriately, and never noticed a difference. I guess you get what you pay for. It's a painful, personal (I got a brazilian), and inconvenient way to waste your money. Pro tip: I waited for a sale at Charleston Medi Spa on James Island and saw immediate results after just one treatment. I'm sure they are great for other services, but seriously don't bother with the laser hair removal.
