What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
With 5 full-size shooting lanes on synthetic ice, our clients maximize stick on puck time with up to 30-40 shots per minute on average. Our facility also features a skating treadmill, personalized instruction, a full gym with weight & cardio equipment, a fitness studio, and 2200 sq ft of turf.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
With a team passionate about hockey and a noticeable growth in the hockey community in the last few years, the owner of Breakaway was inspired to provide Nashville hockey enthusiasts with an off-ice experience to enhance skill levels, develop stronger players and assist in the growth of the sport.

What do you love most about your job?
When people notice a difference in their skill level after working with our coaching staff. That 'ah-ha' moment when a client realizes his or her game is improving is why we do what we do.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Most of our first time customers are surprised by the size of the facility and oftentimes stick around a lot longer than they intended to. One of the best compliments we've heard so far is that the facility is like a 'playground for hockey players'.
