Community Rowing modeled itself after a Club in Boston that successfully serves underserved while teaching youth (middle-school through high school) the skillsets of a sport well-oared.

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing those ah-ha moments when our youth rowers accomplish new goals.

Community Rowing is a nonprofit of volunteers but they are wonderful! Mahinda gave my daughter and I a quick refresher lesson on how to get the best experinece kayaking and told us about the beautiful saltwater marsh and wildlife reserve just to the south of them. He was even kind enouugh to take a few pictures of us and text them to me. This was a wonderful experience and we'll definately be back. I'd love to try rowing with them!

Mahinda and Dina went above and beyond to go searching for us to tow us back, even though we made it back safely on our own. They were concerned due to the unusual fog that morning! We appreciate their efforts. It was a great kayak around the preserve that Dina pointed out too. Great people
