The Resort at Schlitterbahn - Resort at the Bahn, New Braunfels

This was a fantastic vacation. The hotel room was amazing. We were blown away at how beautiful and huge the rooms and bathrooms were! We even had a washer and dryer inside of our suite! Full size kitchen, huge living area, nice size outdoor balcony, private parking, and private shuttle busses to kick us up. I felt like I won the lottery.

This was the first visit for my family and I. We enjoyed our stay in the room that was provided for us the staff was really really nice. However, we were very disappointed that the water park was actually closed which made the visit a little bit more difficult because we were entertaining a teenager and a 4-year old who were looking forward to celebrating a birthday in the water park especially on a 4 day stay. The pools were available but definitely not the same as having a water park available while staying on the property. We would like to visit again definitely with the understanding the waterpark would be available. Not having to tell two kids everyday waking up to seeing a waterpark and then told they can't visit the waterpark isn't much fun at all.

Best location for original site

One bed was comfy. One was not. Room was ok. Lots of towels to use. Air got cold. Service was good. Closest park was outdated and dirty.
