Colorful knobs and grips jut out from City Climb Gym's angular white walls, guiding climbers of all experience levels along routes designed by USAC-certified setters. These vertical treks are made safe by ropes, which are looped into climbers' harnesses and held below by belayers. No harness is necessary to clamber along the curves of a bouldering cave, however—or while army crawling the entire length of the floor. Students can bring their own equipment or rent climbing shoes, harnesses, and chalk bags at the gym.

It was for my 2 grandchildren. The young woman who conducted the lesson for them did a wonderful job. They enjoyed it very much.

Kids were bored within 15 minutes. Not really kid friendly. And very hard to find.

My 9 year old son and I had a great time there. It was much more challenging than initially thought but our instructor, Katie, was very helpful and encouraging. My arms were sore the next day so it was a good workout. We will definitely go rock climbing again!

Not very welcoming. The bouldering wall didn't suit my kids, who are experienced rock wall climbers. Staff wasn't all that friendly. Also, it wasn't much money savings -- felt like a raw deal. Certainly not a the way to make a good impression and gain exposure with such a negative first taste. We will be sticking with mountain fun. Much more welcoming!

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Unfortunately, we have increased our pricing recently and Groupon has not cancelled the campaign even with repeated requests for this reason (price increase). Sorry you didn’t feel welcomed at City Climb, that is certainly not how most first timers feel. Have a great day- Crystal T.
